It all made me think the Patreon ain't jumping like he hoped. It comes off like trying to limit access to the free stuff to convince people to buy the Patreon. I think when he saw that didn't work that well he decided to put it back on youtube to try and leverage that into something else. Either way it's clear he's spinning his wheels right now throwing shyt at the wall trying to figure it all out.
a ton of white podcasters less famous are eating off Patreon like Andrew and even the itsthereal guys

speaks more to the quality of support brehs give

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I will never understand why he was so adamant against ads on the podcast that’s an easy 6 figures he coulda made at the peak of the show :mjlol:

JBP was literally the only place I would allow ads to play without skipping or muting. They did them in a very organically funny way.

Joe overthinks shyt.

He’s had a good run. Just cater to the people that are still rocking with you. Why is he stressing himself out like this? I thought the point was to make it fun, not make the pod a job. Be probably should’ve taken some of them deals he turned down.

I still listen to the Weds pod. But I agree, its not that fire to where Ima pay for it. Honestly, there isn't a podcast out now that Id be willing to pay for. You can see its only a matter of time before its Patreon only, and thats when they'll lose me as a listener.

I think Joe kind of panicked after the R&M mess and now he's all over the place and I honestly think he took the show off YouTube because he was upset R&M were getting more views

But i could care less about their business and who is getting what. They just need to put a lil more effort into the weekly pod
And that’s what these people don’t realize. We pay all this money monthly for various streaming services and other shyt, why am I paying one damn podcast? I used to listen to the pod every week but never thought about paying for it. This is why you take these deals man… oh well.

He waited too damn long. I think if he would’ve done it at the pod’s height when it was firing on all cylinders I think he would’ve got a lot of subscriptions. Instead he waited until the podcast had fallen off and there was visible tension causing the decline in quality to finally go to Patreon. On top of that it was months after telling his audience that he’s a business genius and we’re all idiots who can’t understand his vision. It turned a lot of people off of Joe which is the last thing you want to do before asking people to dig into their pockets to support.
