Haven't listened to JBP's response yet, but did listen to the Native Land discussion. Tiffany Cross was driving the discussion, but it didnt seem well-thought-out our well put together. I've generally thought the Native Land podcast put together good discussions but this wasn't one of them.

I guess some people expect Marc to only engage with “his kind” and discuss complex or important issues.

Marc being on a podcast surrounded by people who don’t know too much about anything outside of their field (what’s flip’s field lol) and engaging with audiences who don’t really pay a lot of attention to things Marc talks about other wise is actually a good thing.

Of course it might damage his brand a bit, but in this 2025 classless society we live in, I think it’ll be unaffected. But I saw some middle aged black folks on LinkedIn under a post about Marc joining the pod and them listening to it for the first time and people said shyt like “it was interesting, but I couldn’t get past the constant use of the N-word, so I won’t be listening again” :lolbron:

Response to the Native pod was cool, hated the part where they brought up Flip's wealth. Also dumb point to pull up when the wealth of Flip wasnt the issue. They dikkride wealth way too much. They did the same shyt in the SAS vs Serena husband shyt. Joe/Ish changed their tune when they found out how much dude was worth.
