Don't lend money if you can't afford to lose it. Especially to friends.
Track your expenses.
Always pay more than the minimum payment.
If you owe e.g. 500 a month in loan repayments, if you pay one loan off, keep using the amount you'd normally use for that loan repayment on the other loans. Don't fool yourself into thinking that money is magically freed up to spend again. You'll pay off your loans much faster.
No matter how little or much you make, put some money aside every month. Every month.

Because my home life is so tumultuous, I freely give my heart out, which leaves me vulnerable to be taken advantage of. It's happening now, and it's always happened.

My kindness isn't because I'm weak, but because I'm simply kind...right?

Or am I really just that weak?

I like to travel and explore on my own. People watch, make conversation...hopefully friends with locals. But even that is at risk of being taken away from me.

I just saw this gem of a book, straight up available from the CIA site that is(?) recommended reading for their staff:

Psychology of Intelligence Analysis:
Intelligence analysts should be self-conscious about their reasoning processes. They should think about how they make judgments and reach conclusions, not just about the judgments and conclusions themselves.

Heuer emphasizes both the value and the dangers of mental models, or mind-sets. In the book's opening chapter, entitled "Thinking About Thinking," he notes that:

[Analysts] construct their own version of "reality" on the basis of information provided by the senses, but this sensory input is mediated by complex mental processes that determine which information is attended to, how it is organized, and the meaning attributed to it. What people perceive, how readily they perceive it, and how they process this information after receiving it are all strongly influenced by past experience, education, cultural values, role requirements, and organizational norms, as well as by the specifics of the information received.

This process may be visualized as perceiving the world through a lens or screen that channels and focuses and thereby may distort the images that are seen. To achieve the clearest possible image...analysts need more than information...They also need to understand the lenses through which this information passes. These lenses are known by many terms--mental models, mind-sets, biases, or analytic assumptions.

From a summary:
Heuer states that readers aren’t only biased but the information they read is biased since “most human-source information is secondhand at best.” All information has a bias. Ultimately, the reader will “perceive what they expect to perceive” before engaging with news about current events. They may convince themselves that they want to learn more. But they rarely take into account their own expectation of what they think they will learn. For example, if a viewer watches the news, they may want to learn new information, but their perception of the world deeply affects their expectations of what they will actually comprehend. Our “expectations have many diverse sources, including past experience, professional training, and cultural and organizational norms. All these influences predispose [readers] to pay particular attention to certain kinds of information and to organize and interpret this information in certain ways.” Readers actively pick out pieces of information from the media to reaffirm their thoughts about the world. “Patterns of expectations tell [readers], subconsciously, what to look for, what is important, and how to interpret what is seen. These patterns form a mindset that predisposes [readers] to think in certain ways. A mindset is akin to a screen or lens through which one perceives the world.” This sets many readers at a disadvantage because they are less capable of retaining accurate information since their biases interfere. “[New] information is [always] assimilated to existing images” a reader has about the world. It is difficult to to combat cognitive bias since it is “similar to optical illusions in that the error remains compelling even when one is fully aware of its nature. Awareness of the bias, by itself, does not produce a more accurate perception. Cognitive biases, therefore, are, exceedingly difficult to overcome.

Meditation from my experiences which helps recognizing that your thoughts are just thoughts really develops this ability. It really stresses the importance of watching what you're paying attention to.

Wanna get even with someone that hurt you or angering you? Get even by being a better person, not stooping down to their level and not doing what they did to you to someone else or returning their negative energy by fighting them. Show them how it's done by being the better person and let them remain shytty with their miserable selves. It's not you.

Not even conflict or drama has to be solved with fighting words or fists. Can't always fight. Wasting time on fighting unnecessary is pointless.

And don't hold grudges or back feelings. Let go of anger, grief and negative emotions. It's bad for your heart. The heart pumps harder when it feels negative emotions.

This is the best and only advice I can give any of you:

1. In this life and I mean this with every fiber of my being: YOU HAVE NO ONE IN THIS LIFE BUT YOURSELF. Not your mom, not your dad, not your cousins, not your best friend, not even your wife. Do not RELY ON ANYONE and I mean that. NO ONE IS GOING TO LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU DO. TRUST ME ON THIS. You need to do whatever it takes to take care of yourself and be self-reliant. Im serious.

This is what I tell people who allow themselves to be sucked into unecessary drama and back and forths with people who clearly just want to argue.

Don't get wrapped up in people's life thinking they are richer and happier than you just because they have a nice house, nice whips and always on trips...I know people like that that seem to have everything in life but behind closed doors they are miserable because they are in debt, or have severe family issues

I need to get out of that thinking. I always assume the people I know in my life are at a better position that me.
