Ennis.

It's one of my GOAT comic runs. Tailor made for Television seasons, shyts all over Ennis' cartoony punisher.

I love Ennis run as well he reinvented the Punisher. Have you read the boys? Which IMO is a top ten standalone series horrible ending though as is typical of Ennis.

I skimmed through the whole series. Didn't enjoy it that much.

Ennis is GREAT when he's great, when there's folks around to reel in his stuck in the mid-90s ren and stimpy frat boy gross out gore sense of humor.

When he's not? Ehhhhh......

I loved it, then again I love comics where heroes are allowed to cut lose instead of being bound and anchored by the hero code. Irredeemable is another piff comic of a similar nature.

I’m still on the fence about The Who conspiracy angle. I wanted a season Frank dismantling the mob or some other type of crime ring.
