Jon Bernthal has officially started work on his upcoming Netflix series The Punisher!

The 40-year-old actor was seen wearing a hoodie and sporting a full beard while on set on Monday afternoon (October 3) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Jon previously played the role of Frank Castle on the latest season of Daredevil and now the actor is set to lead his own series.

The Punisher is the sixth series ordered as part of Marvel and Netflix’s collaboration, joining the just released Luke Cage and the upcoming The Defenders and Iron Fist.

I'm glad he's getting his own series, I feel actir can carry his own show, obviously they're going to have to give him stuff that he cares about, so that he has people to bounce off of, and people to protect.


I still want him to show up on the Defender series at some point try and shoot luke cage and cage just laugh in his face
