What was Brock highest payday?

GSP got paid in the 4-5 million range, so it's safe to assume Brock got something similar.

What's crazy is when Brock was thinking about coming back to MMA, the UFC ended up making a ridiculous last minute offer once Brock said he made the decision to re-sign with WWE. I wouldn't be surprised if the offer was something close to 10 million a fight.

I wonder who gives in? Conor or the UFC? Or they negotiate somewhere in between.
Conor can make money elsewhere. He's got that "IT" factor where he could do other things. The UFC has lost big names and still soldiered on despite it. A couple of years ago Conor was just another fighter. The UFC won't be able to dodge this issue forever, they're number one by default. If Bellator can start snatching up some disenfranchised top names, it's gonna get interesting.

No one wants to see Cowboy as the main event let's be honest. I'm hoping Jones gets the head line. But as far as Conor goes he has to fight for the belt now

Meltzer with some insteresting info:

"It's an interesting game. [...] Losing him for this show is a big blow. [...] Even with Georges it's a big difference in buys. (McGregor off the show). All thing considered we're talking about 40 million UFC money lost. All combat sports are star driven. He's got a lot of leverage and this is tens of millions of dollars being fought over. I don't know how it's going to play out."

"Both sides don't want the story out because otherwise one of them would have come out with it."

"This is really the biggest MMA story of a long long time. Especially if he sits it out for a long time."

"The speculation is going to run rampant because we don't know. There's so many changes going on in the UFC. Who knows what this all means. [...] He had to have been pretty gun-ho if he wanted the fight at welterweight. He demanded welterweight.'
Meltzer: "Conor McGregor is NOT going to miss a press conference. Conor knows better than anyone the importance of the press. [...] " • /r/MMA
