you aint lying. Especially since he is so aggressive while playing the top. It wont take much for Silva to slip one of Bones' arms through and welcome him to triangle/armbar city

Anderson isn't submitting Jones. Get real. He fukked up one time. That will never happen again. I think it actually works against Anderson, and everyone else for that matter, that Vitor nearly caught that armbar. Jones is one to learn from his mistakes and correct them as soon as possible.
Anyway, Thiago Silva tested positive for marijuana and aught another suspension. Just 6 months this time. No word on whether they're overturning his win or not.

I could see someone like Vinny subbing Jones off his back
but Anderson? I dont see it. I know Vitor caught him, but that couldve been the best thing for Jones...hes a smart kid, hes gonna train the shyt out of sub defense...and not the "last minute sub defense", but just not gettin caught in the first place. Best way to defend a submission is to not allow it to get to that point where u need a last minute defense...u need to not get caught deep in the first place
Props to Vitor...but it wasnt really just a straight armbar...he pivoted off the cage, which made the transition into it a lot stronger/quicker...vitors got great hips anyway, but added to that it was quick

You and @firemanBk both have good points. I dont see Silva getting Bones to stay in his guard if he even gets him there. His transitions from top to side are great.

It's only a 6 month suspension. Not that long. They let him keep his entire purse and the SOTN bonus he got for the fight. They overturned the win to a NC though. So, since he beat Jardine in August 2010 he's now 0-2, 2 NC.
