Barao/Wineland is going to be an exceptional fight. Wineland has power, good TDD, is tough to finish and is a great striker. I wouldn't count him out, though I still got Barao taking it.

Barao is top 5 p4p 4 me.

Barao is top 5 p4p 4 me.

He's top 10, but I wouldn't put him top 5. My P4P:

1) Silva
2) a. Bones
b. GSP
3) Aldo
4) Bendo
5) Cain
6) a. Barao
b. Mighty Mouse

GSP and Bones and Mighty Mouse and Barao are interchangeable.

Not sure why a lot of people are hating on this fight. Barao's one of the best fighters on the planet and Wineland's a very tough opponent [an upset in this fight is not far-fetched]. Plus, for the most part, they are both exciting.

Tdot.. till the death of me
Guillard's lack of IQ:

He was winning his fight with Nate Diaz pretty handily. Then [for some reason] he decides to take the fight the ground and instantly ends up in a guillotine. At that moment, he made probably the worst decision possible.

Comes into the Lauzon fight with a huge chip on his shoulder. Early in the fight, drops his hands and runs right into one of Lauzon's punches, which rocks him and then, he proceeds to get chocked out. What else is new?

Is winning his fight with Jim Miller. Yet again, makes a horrible decision, this time by attempting a flying knee. Proceeds to get taken down [from the flying knee attempt] and submitted.

He has had more f#ck-ups, but those are the ones that I remember.

I didn't say his chin is weak, I said it's 'not great'. He was dropped by Joe f'n Stevenson [who has pretty much no punching power] with a jab!. He's also been dropped by Lauzon and Cerrone [who finished him]. Lauzon and Cerrone are understandable, but Joe Stevenson?

Another issue with Guillard is that he is not really willing to work his way out of submissions [not willing to fight through adversity]. He taps almost instantly.

He fuks up but to say his iq is low is pretty Harsh. Hes a fighter who makes mistakes. I think hes more emotional then anything. Hes winning a fight, he feels good and starts getting excited and loses focus on the strategy. Ive seen fighters throw inside leg kicks..its working yet they jus stop :yeshrug: that means there iq is low? :skip: sounds like you just dont like melvin for whatever reason which is cool.

As far as getting dropped, Sounds like youve never been in a fight tbh. Anyone can get knocked down at anytime especially if you dont see it coming, or it hits your chin a certain way. I see fighters get kod over petty looking shots all the time.. that cant be the only fight youve seen where someone gets knocked down by somone you wouldnt expect. :why:

But whatever, hes still exciting to watch to me. He jus needs someone to really sit him down and teach him some gotdamn submission defense.

Pretty much any avid MMA fan will tell that he lacks IQ. It's not just that he makes mistakes, he makes really dumb mistakes, most of which could be easily avoidable.

For the most part, I actually like Melvin [he can be very arrogant though]. I just recognize the glaring holes in his game.

Agreed with bolded. His ground ground has been a problem for a long time now, I don't see how he hasn't learned some submission defense.

Bellator had another strong show.

Popo needed to go for more takedowns. Cooper w/ a great come from behind victory. Doug Marshall is fukking annoying. Frodo is disturbingly strong...just debo'd everything Sandro was doing. It's always hard to watch him lose.

When do Arlovski and Rumble fight? SMH@that fight....that fight helps NOBODY!!! I'll watch, though:mjpls:.

Silva opened as a -215 favorite against Chris Weidman. I don't think Sonnen ever got that kinda respect from Vegas.

Very surprising odds. I thought Silva would open at around -400.

Will Weidman keep fighting at 185 if Silva destroys him? Silvas been ending careers recently.

Going down in weight would definitely not be an option, dude is huge.

Honestly, I think this will be the first real fight Silva will have since the first Sonnen fight. I don't think Silva will fool around in this one.

Weidman went the distance with damien, hes going to get beaten in showmanship fashion. They'll probably ask for a rematch if he gets a decision.

3. Nelson has lost to Mir and Werdum, both of whom have been demolished by JDS.

In what way does Nelson beat JDS?

If Hunt is not top 10, name me 10 better HWs.

So what does JDS demolishing Mir and werdum have to do with Nelson rematching JDS. You think just because some1 beat somebody once they shouldnt fight again?

JDS demolished Cain 1st round tko, but cain beat em the 2nd time. Cain came back with a different gameplan, the 2nd time. GSP lost to arm bar to matt hughes, 2 yrs later they rematched and we all know what happened.

Every1 thought Big Foot had no chance against Reem on standing, they fought and da upset happened.

Roy vs JDS is a beautiful rematch. Roy has already faced him, knows what to expect and can gameplan around that. Roy has a lot of tv exposure from ultimate fighter, and is embraced by fans. I dont know what Hunt would bring to a JDS fight that Roy doesnt already bring plus more. Knock out power, a chin, check and check for Roy too. Every1 says Cain couldn't keep JDS down, Cain only has that wrestling base, he doesn't have a full grappling and BJJ base so that once he gets the fighter down, can use other maneuvers and holds to keep the opponent down. Multiple times JDS was giving Cain his back and jus standing up, a BJJ fighter would've been quick to get the hooks in and go for the rear choke. Cain jus held around his waist.

Gotta remember where the fight is, its Winnipeg, Can. Ticket prices will be modest, they'll get a strong gate cuz 1st time in that part of country. fight fans in Can will travel there, I've already had 20-30 calls from groups trying to plan group rates and such for it.

UFC fightsi n Canada is just like Brazil, almost any card draws, especially a stacked one like this.

Who are you.......:usure:
