I see his ground game being horrible...
but how is his IQ horrible?
to get back to what I was saying...his only area of weakness as far as fighting I would say is his ground game. if he had a decent ground game how is he losing? he faster and stronger then pretty much everyone in his class...and how is is chin weak when he's been KO'd once out of 45 fights?
all his losses except one have come from submissions or decision.
Guillard's lack of IQ:
He was winning his fight with Nate Diaz pretty handily. Then [for some reason] he decides to take the fight the ground and instantly ends up in a guillotine. At that moment, he made probably the worst decision possible.
Comes into the Lauzon fight with a huge chip on his shoulder. Early in the fight, drops his hands and runs right into one of Lauzon's punches, which rocks him and then, he proceeds to get chocked out. What else is new?
Is winning his fight with Jim Miller. Yet again, makes a horrible decision, this time by attempting a flying knee. Proceeds to get taken down [from the flying knee attempt] and submitted.
He has had more f#ck-ups, but those are the ones that I remember.
I didn't say his chin is weak, I said it's 'not great'. He was dropped by Joe f'n Stevenson [who has pretty much no punching power] with a jab!

. He's also been dropped by Lauzon and Cerrone [who finished him]. Lauzon and Cerrone are understandable, but Joe Stevenson?
Another issue with Guillard is that he is not really willing to work his way out of submissions [not willing to fight through adversity]. He taps almost instantly.
