Same. There's no fights that i'd care for except maybe Cormier. It's no secret i don't like Jones but his fights aren't even fun anymore. The Page fight, Rashad fight, most of Vitor, etc are all boring as shyt if you try to rewatch them.

Not even cormier excites me. Who knows what shape he will be in after the cut and he'd still be small as fukk. Gus got worked by a green davis and hasnt really fought a wrestler since then so I can only imagine what jones would do to him. He needs to stop bullshytting with the lack of competition at 205 and make that jump

I could be wrong about Barao, but if not they could make Cruz defend the belt while Barao heals. Rousey/Tate will be a December fight as well

Pretty good weekend of fights I wonder if WSOF will finally put together a good show, it seems like this card has to perform or they will be the "Fight Nights" of MMA , but without the prospect building.

Thinking about it, there's no contenders lined up at 155 after the Bendo/Grant fight with a possible big money fight between Bendo/Pettis waiting there after. At the same time featherweight has suddenly swelled up with a line of possible contenders.

Plus Aldo seems ready to move up to 155 anyways so the matchup could still happen in the future.

Got me questioning this injury

Exactly why Pettis should've taken the earliest title shot instead of being greedy and looking for the FW and LW title shots. He could've fought Bendo already instead of having this time off.

I dont think that Pettis would come up with a fake injury with a title fight just a month and change away. If this was just a regular fight, I would be in the fake injury camp though. I agree though now that he wont fight at 145, and go back up to 155.

This does free up Henderson/ Aldo for Dec. though (if they both win their next fights easily/ without injury)
