Rumble vs Lil nog makes no fukkin sense but I guess Dana is either hoping he fukks up again, or giving him a gift fight for not fukkin up.

Rumble (ranked 5-8 LHW) vs Lil Nog (ranked 5-8 LHW) makes more sense than Rumble vs Manuwa imo (ranked outside the top 10 and coming off a loss). And I can't see him getting a title shot off this win, we still have a Gus rematch and then Cormier (when he beats Hendo). Rumble is at least 2 wins away from a title shot. Having said that, Rumble vs Manuwa would make for the more exciting/competitive fight imo

Going through the rankings and who's available/healthy, the only fight that makes more sense than Rumble/Lil Nog is Rumble/Rashad imo but I doubt they would be willing to fight each other.

Also anybody else not impressed by Matt browns lil win streak? they been hyping dude like crazy..I see no killers on your lil streak list.
I'm not. Quantity isn't always quality

He's lucky that Condit fight didn't end up happening, Carlos was gonna give him the business.

I'm really hoping Erick Silva takes him out Saturday

for real NBK was going to KO dat ass. As for Erik silva dude is up and down as a fighter.Matt brown could grind out a dec or if erik gets to flashy gets em with a KO. Im talking about all the other top welters I see Brown beating none.

His streak is a little overrated, but it's not definitely not bad. 6-0 with 5 finishes, with wins over Mein, Thompson and Pyle, but he's lacking a true top tier win.

I will be surprised if the UFC makes it to UFC 230

To be real boxing promoters can easily take over MMA

the truth is they have too many ppvs not enough fighters worth seeing

fighters don't have time to grow and learn their craft, the rely too much on the quality talent they do have and they get injured from over training

UFC 230 will be around 4 years from now, I highly doubt the UFC will be gone by then.Let's say they don't make it past 4-5 years, I'm certain another major MMA promotion(s) will be around. I don't see MMA dying anytime soon.

losing gsp, anderson and lesnar has really killed their model

seriously they have too many events and they need to start stacking cards like goldenboy has been doing but they dont have the fighters right now

If the UFC had 7-8 PPVs (instead of 12-13 PPV events) with (their usual) 4 FOX cards and some free cards sprinkled in there, the events would be stacked. Especially, if the fighters can stay healthy (Pettis, Cain, etc). Right now, it seems like we have a fight card every week.
