How do you all watch the events?

Usually I get together with a bunch of friends and split the PPV. Recently though, I've been heading to the bar to watch it.

Honestly links from here. If its big card there is a bar I hit with friends.

Really depends on the card, when its a stacked top to bottom card, me n a group of friends usually order it at my boys condo, he got a sweet 80' his place is like a huge mancave.

Regular ppv's or good fight nites, usually head to a couple big bars here in Toronto. Bars b acting like its the superbowl for sum of these ppv's good vibe.

Any Toronto or Montreal cards i see in person.

How many events have you been to?

I've been to the Machida/Jones card and the Jones/Belfort card. Both card were good, but the Machida/Jones one was crazyyyy, from the prelims to the main card had me :ohlawd:

I can never watch fights on a stream, it's wack as fukk. As a last resort, I completely avoid spoilers and end up downloading the card the next morning [HD too :blessed:] from a private MMA-dedicated torrent site.

If anybody needs a invite to this site, PM me brehs.

worse viewing experience i had was when cain whooped brocks ass and i was the only brock stan in the whole sports bar, that roar when it was over and mexican chants burned my soul :to:

Been to the last 4 in Montreal, i missed the 1st one. And been to all 3 in Toronto. Only 1 in Vegas, Silva/vitor.

I must say what a huge difference in the atmosphere. In Vegas it was really more of a show, an event. Had the feeling like i was at the Oscars or sumthin wit celebrities walking around, and every1 dressed to impress. And holy shyt da escots, more p*ssy than fighters walking around.

In Toronto, there were tons of fans, but seemed like lots of ppl who were jus there to say they were there.

Now Montreal, was the krazyiest. When GSP is walkin out, every1 in arena is standing n screaming GSP. I was screaming to my friend directly bside and he cldnt hear me. It was the loudest thing ive ever heard. The entire fight, no1 in the arena sat down, they were screaming either GSp or doin the soccer Ole Ole chant the entire fight. Every time GSP landed a shot, whole crowd screaming Ole. Was jus ridiculous feelin. Smitty, from UFC not sure if every1 knows em, but he's a fan that works wit UFC now, been to almost every fight card around the world, said only Montreal and when Aldo won in Brazil has he heard a crowd that krazy. He said most of these other US towns, the crowd is jus very boring or uneducated, booing when guys are doing high level grapplin or ground work.

Me and my brother usually put money together and watch it at home. I hate watching football, boxing and mma with a bunch of ppl....they're always talking and asking me dumbass questions. I like listening to the commentary. I don't even like watching sporting events live. Too far away in the stands, can't hear the commentary, long-ass bathroom lines. fukk that.:childplease:

Bellator was another good show EXCEPT for the awful main event. Alot of low fighter IQ(I say this as if I'm actually tough:russ: )Mpumbu moving backwards with his chin straight up in the air...Veigh being in side control and almost giving it up b/c he seemingly didn't know he was in it. Mpumbu clinching against the cage w/ a minute left in the fight and doing nothing until Herzog broke it up with only 30 seconds to go:why:

Maybe the worst fight in Bellator history...I thought it was gonna be fireworks. No way Silva and Stann let us down.

I was of one of those people that went crazy when Cain won. But I know how you feel breh, I had the same feeling when JDS lost to Cain and Machida and Shogun lost to Bones.

Damn breh, I'm jealous. What was the crowd like when Silva knocked out Vitor?

Canadian fans are just crazy for GSP, they go absolutely HAM for him at the bar I watch at. Like you say though, the atmosphere must be on another whole league at the actual event.

Nothing compares to the Brazilian crowd IMO, but it's cool to know Montreal is up there as well.

Yeah the main event was a disappointment, but not the worst. The HW title fight between Volkov and Hale was more painful to watch. At least in this fight Veigh tried to be aggressive in spurts and was able to land some decent shots on Mpumbu. Mpumbu is a counter fighter, but not sure how he planned to win the fight by practically doing nothing on the feet :why:

Best moment of the show was Ed West's head kick KO, dude threw so many quicks in that fight he was bound to get a KO and the way he set it up by going low then immediately going high was great.

Next week should be a lot better with the FW semifinals, Richman vs. Popo should be fireworks.

I usually order them and have folks over. I don't mind paying for mma personally, beats running up a nasty tab at a bar. I hit a bar every now and then because its fun to root with/against big groups too.

Was very weird, very body at the same time was just in shock, and jus said Awww or wow. It was so jus unexpected that shot. It's like when at a bar, and there's a brief lull in a fight and u dip your head down to sip on a beer, and look up and dude is jus on da ground. But Vegas is diff weird, we had seats in da back, n then met a few hosts and got upgraded mid fight, sitting in the back was way better, was actual fans there, yelling and screaming. On the ground, honestly 80% of the ppl had no clue which 1 was Silva. You can tell, it was jus shmo big shot from this casino, or this nightclub just there to say they were there, and with 2 escorts on either side of them.

It's like going to a bar to watch the superbowl, and they have the bud light girls there lookin hot. Half of them, don't even know which team is the ravens, or who ray lewis plays for. But there smiling and screaming after every play still, like they know whats going on.

Does anyone know if the guy that hooks up the streams on here (apologies, I can't remember your name) is going to be able to hook up a nice quality stream for tomorrow?
