When i think of a great striker, power of his shots are not a determining factor to me. Some of the best strikers in boxing in mma i've ever seen don't have knock out power but their technique, vision and timing are just impeccable.
Take as an example Floyd Mayweather hes regarded arguably as the best in boxing right now, and since 2006 to now he only has 2 KO's, and 8 decisions. He's not know for having a huge knock out punch or power, but his technique is on point. His vision, his counter punching, the smarts in the ring when to throw the body shot to wear down the opponent and then how to throw the body shot as to not leave himself open for a counter. Those are things that makes a good striker
Kongo vs Barry, good example. Barry is known as a solid striker and kick boxer. He comes over from K1 and facing Kongo you would think he would have the advantage in the striking, but Barry was stupid. he had kongo hurt and ran in, hands down and got caught. part of being a good striker is being smart, use your timing and vision to finish the guy, not just run in chin up hands down like a fool.
