I hope Jon Jones comes back at full strength. He's one of the most talented out there, but his toe injury appears to be lingering and causing serious problems.
everytime he opens his mouth these days I cringe because it reaffirms the fact that the ufc's tough guys have now been replaced by so called athletes which is another way to say sissies. The ufc is so sissified that 75% of fighters point fight & the new face is actually a woman :heh:.but back to jones i was never sold that hed have a long career.Like i said there is a reason his bros are in NFL and hes doing ufc. When he beat shogun he was ready to take on all comers now hes sick of al the big dogs being saved for him, fact is he aint built for the grind and is already getting battle weary

Anderson kicking again

Just two and a half months after having his leg broken in half by a kick-check from Chris Weidman at UFC 168, former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva is kicking again."The Spider" has kept fans updated on his speedy recovery, previously posting videos of himself lifting weights, walking, punching a heavy bag and training Jiu Jitsu.

In his newest video, Silva throws soft kicks with his injured legs on a stability ball. The Brazilian legend looks to be keeping trim and fit while rehabilitating his leg.

He also looks happy to be throwing those dangerous legs again. "I compare this first kicks to the joy of the birth of my first sons," he told Brazilian outlet UOL.

I don't really follow him, so I don't know about his mental toughness. In the ring, he's a beast. I have thought his frame looked skinny... Maybe that was a clue that his toe would be weak, or maybe it was a fluke injury... In any case, toe injuries are up there with knee tears when it comes to athletes.

How long until UFC figures out that the prettier their female fighters are, the higher the ratings will be. It won't be long until we see Arianny fighting Celeste in slow motion. "That's elite-level jiu-jitsu, Joe"

Am I the only one that feels like watching the girls fight is like watching the WNBA? Like I can appreciate the skills among the women but it's just not that fun when you know the worst male would smoke them all. It's just not that fun for me when I know that there's so much better competition to watch.

I actually think Rhonda is awesome but at the end of the day, I would watch Game 7 of the Little League World Series but I don't want to tune into the regular season matchups.

this argument would be appropriate if you were talking about weightclasses below LW.But if the only thing thats going through your mind when your are watching a chick fight is "i cant enjoy this cuz a male scrub could kick their asses" something is wrong with you..I will take the unrefined skills I see in a ronda or miesha fight over the touch tag low impact highly mobile garbage "athletes" supposedly " fighting smart" do today
