10. Final Fantasy Rebirth

This list is in no particular order but all these games are generally regarded as great games if not outright classics. Most of them can be downloaded for free if you have ps plus.

Honestly I don’t think there is another system that you can name 10 exclusives as good as this.

I'm so tired of this argument. We literally just posted all the new heat dropping this month and next month. Not to mention all the games that have released over there years. We gotta start asking these folks to show their trophies and gaming purchases and that will tell the true story. A lot of these folks aren't real gamers. They don't play single player games. They only play games that have a ball in it, you shoot people, or it's multiplayer. Anything else is either boring, too hard for them, or they lack the attention span to sit still and actually complete a story based game. You heard him mention Fortnite as his game of reference and that told me all I know. I had some brehs I knew that complained about this same issue but all they play is 2k. They were dumbfounded when I told them that the way 2k is currently set up it is essentially an RPG/MMO at this point

Dude in the IG post as well as the rest of the "no games" crowd are only gonna acknowledge cultural phenomenon type games, otherwise it might as well not even exist. This is why they're referred to as GTA/2K/COD/Fortnite gamers aka casuals because they literally need approval from the majority of society before they'll consider playing something.

We could start with just the GOTY contenders every year the past 5 years and they'll juelz about why they didn't play any of them when it's the simple fact that they didn't see everyone else on it.

Yeah that too. Unless they're younger and have unlimited time to game. I don't see how people are actually knocking out these games at the pace they swear they are lol. Between working and just adulting it's some weeks where I don't even touch my console because of time or just being tired from the grind of life. These people are unemployed bums or they just put games above everyday life lol. That's why I gotta see their trophies/achievements since that will tell the truth if they're actually beating these games or even playing them. Remember when Elden Ring put that stat out that said less that 5% of players even beat the first boss

There are a bunch of games to play with a good amount of variety this gen along with games of previous generations. There still needs to be a greater amount of games that take advantage of the ps5 in terms of gameplay though. The rest of this generation going into next generation should show that. Cross gen games next gen will basically be ps5 showcases. With the technology available now and that will be available next gen, gameplay should advance beyond that game design.

You're right but the issue is the United PSN ecosystem. Traditionally when you went to a newer console backwards compatibility wasn't prevalent because the switched up APUs which forced users to move to the newest console and let an emulator handle BC if they included it on the console . But since the PS4/Xbox one generation, backwards compatibility has become a new staple which has slowed people adopting newer consoles. Developers are going to Target the greatest share of the market to maximize their profits which means developing for the lowest common denominator unfortunately and just upping the fidelity/framerate for us PS5 brehs. This year the PS5 just took over as having more active users then the PS4 and there are still 49M out there so they'll keep making games for them. But you're right these next 3-4 years Sony's first party studios are going all in on the PS5 to force people to upgrade. GTA 6 will be the main driver to force people over.

GTA is good, but not as good as people make it to be. As kids it was 2nd the coming of jesus. Now? There's so many games out there that's way better. The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption 2, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, etc.

I just spend more time on meaningful games.

Right! I just copped Hell is Us and I don't know when I'm going to play it between Silksong, Yotei, Battlefield
Plus I just saw that Cronus new dawn game. If you can't find a single game to purchase in this day and age that says more about you then the gaming industry lol. Even if your funds ain't right just having PS+ or Gamepass should have something in there

Also I'm not into extraction shooters but the Arc Raiders looks like a banger. Then I been keeping up with Marvel Rivals. Arc Raiders, Battlefield, and Marvel rivals on top of current and upcoming single player games.


It's so much coming out, by backlog is stupid. I'm buying the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC tomorrow.
