I asked this chick for her number the other day in person. She gave it to me. Today I Texted her asking what she was doing for easter/if she had plans or celebrated it. This was her response
"I stopped celebrating it a long time ago. I dont really do anything but im gonna hang out with my best friend"
Now she knew I was asking her this cause I was gonna see if she was free to do anything. So im kinda thinking she went ahead and threw that out there to tell me she isnt interested and just gave me her number to be nice.
She also didnt ask why I was asking as a clarification after I responded with "oh nevermind"
I might be over thinking but I kinda want to forget about her/the situation and try another chick before I/if I get hit with the truth

I agree with everything except the above. I would add a caveat depending on her level of education. If she has been in school for most of her 20s, it may be that she jumps back into the market past her prime and it is harder to find a partner. If she has just been dikking around though
