Like I said in the other Thread, Drake would have more anticipation than Kendrick if it weren't for tax issues.
The music industry is not what it used to be.
If it weren't for tax issues Drake would be more anticipated than Kdot and have more CD sales.

I like him though, but dude is only semi nice considering this current landscape of low talent. Kendrick is nice but people actin like he Nas in 94

ya but those nas fans and kdot fans are completely different types of fans

At the end of the day Kdot is not a great lyricist like Nas or Lupe, but he's a strong storyteller that isn't fake.
I'll take that, I'm cool with that! In 2014 i'll take almost anything dawg!

But when you say he got a 94 Nas anticipation keep in mind if it weren't for tax issues Drake would be way more anticipated than Kdot.

stupid thread. YOU don't like him. I can make the same thread for EVERY rapper and get the same reaction. last time there was the same thread for Nas and msot people were saying that illmatic was decent at best.

with that being said, I personally think kendrick is the best hip hop artist I have heard these last 7 years. I'd even take kendrick over a lto of rappers from the 90s.
