Felix reminds me alot of Federer. When he was young, he lost alot of close matches. Then one day he just "broke though" and went on an all time win streak and full dominance

This is a step in the right direction :ehh::wow:

or even Novak too. Outside of the 08 AO, he always came up juuuust short in the big matches but all it takes is one break through and the flood gates opened. He just has to keep putting himself in this position and it’ll work out for him

i dont care how you feel about Novak but think about this….dude won 19 GS titles in 10 years….that’s ridiculous….while in an era where two other GOAT’s reigned too and one of them (Rafa) basically reigning supreme at one of those GS events.

One thing Novak has over the other 2 is that he is hyper-focused on his goal to be great. It is absolutely remarkable and downright scary at times

Federer and Nadal obviously are focused too, but I think it has to do more with them being pre-ordained to play tennis and other worldly talent. They can do things that other Tennis players simply just can't

I'd say Novak is motivated out of a sense that if he passes them, he feels he'll be loved and celebrated like them but extenuating circumstances makes that unlikely. It's hard to get that kind of love coming after the Fedal, then you have his antics during his younger days that turned off a lot of fans, then you have his antics now that turned off fans...he also doesn't have the backing of Nike & we all know how much Phil knighting you matters.

Kyrgios in the doubles final bringing the fukkery.

Man is going to commit himself and take Wimbledon this year in this weak ass field :blessed:

Nah he’ll get one early round upset and lose in the 3rd round but will be entertaining at least.

Uncertain grounds
If Keys continues to play like she isnt just happy to be playing well and wants to win then she will win.

I'm not convinced she will able to maintain her level against the reliability and guile of Barty however.

Rooting for Keys but I expect Barty to win 5 and 3, or maybe Keys takes the first and drops the 2nd two sets for a three set loss.

These two and Rybakina are my 3 current favorites on tour and I expect the winner of this match to win the tournament
