Unlike the Shapo 5 set loss (I'm all out on Shapo) I'm actually encouraged by this loss. It felt like Danill raised his game a level once they closed the roof. Felix made some costly errors here and there, but battled till the very end. I've got more belief now more than ever that he'll eventually figure it out and win a Slam.

Agree. If there’s such thing as an encouraging loss this is one I guess. It was a huge opportunity missed though.

Felix reminds me alot of Federer. When he was young, he lost alot of close matches. Then one day he just "broke though" and went on an all time win streak and full dominance
