:salute:to Fed, was hoping he could make one final sympathy run but it wasn't meant to be.

Fed's back hasn't been right since 2018. I legit believe he kept trying to come back because nobody else could beat Novak or Nadal and he wanted to steal another Slam.

Sad it's official but it already felt like he was retired. Still the GOAT in my eyes and he has some records that will likely never be matched.

10 straight Grand Slam Finals.
Made all four Finals in three different years (2006, 2007 and 2009).
He was in EVERY Grand Slam Final from Wimbledon 2005 through the 2010 Australian Open except for the 2008 AO. That's 18 out of 19 Finals! :mindblown:
^^^^That will NEVER happen again.
23 straight Semifinals in Slams.
36 straight Quarterfinals in Slams.
237 consecutive weeks at #1.

:mjcry:

Hate he going out at an exo and not at Wimbledon

In some ways it's better like this. He would go out sad at Wimbledon next year, it is to long being inactive and would be shyt to see him get bounced in round 2-3. At least at this event he will go out surrounded by Nadal, Novak and other team Europe members.
