Very much so but also his weakest shot and the one everyone targets, two handed is much safer to hit so became defacto across the board which is why 1bh went outta style. I can only think Tsispas on the ATP tour who uses it, the WTA forget it

You need that extra bit of time with the one handed backhand, and the speed of the game these days it's not the better option. Nadal and Novak really abused Feds BH and knew that was the way to beat him. When his BH was on fire though he was a monster, watch the AO 2017 final against Nadal, his BH was clicking and he got the W against Nadal.
