Let's keep it a buck here

Both Nadal and Djokovic have greatly benefited from the courts slowing down in speed by 2010, seeing that they are slow footed ground stroke players

Federer on the other hand when he was a in his teens and early 20s faced the GOAT era of Servers in Sampras and Ivanišević, and Roddikk and Safin in his prime.... All on faster courts

Nadal and Djokovic have had the benefit of slower courts plus an era where they were less power players. And whenever they came up against them, they usually fell short. Nadal got blown off the court by Del Potro in the 2009 US Open and lost to no name Soldering. Djokovic also lost to Del Petro and faltered to Wawrinka

Us Fed fans let y'all talk because we know y'all hate to hear the truth. We giving y'all a grace period

Don't let this happen again

Lol Novak and Rafa were pushing Rafa from the JUMP. It was well before 2010 that they were on Fed’s head on ANY surface. They all are GOAT’s, no wrong answer

murray was a good player but didnt scare anybody

peak delpo was a terror

murray had the better career
Murray was a great player, you don't win the shyt he has by just being "good"

You just aren't giving him his props period

She got a phat ass...excuse me I'm wildin right now :wow:

As for the GOAT debate...I'm always going Fed, not gonna argue against the other 2 if that's who you got

For me Fed utilizing the small margins and getting the results he did made him far more entertaining to watch. Novak should be applauded for his constant & ruthless efficiency but it's boring which speaks to ratings not being as high for his finals. Djoker will end up most likely with all the records, so take solace in that facts cause he won't be the most loved but at that point who cares.

Yea i def won't argue that. Delpo so hard to rate because he was NEVER the same after 2009. Never really got to show anything at the AO because he was always injured to start the season but he ended his career with:

AO - 2 QF's
FO - 2 SF's
W - SF
USO - W, F, SF (a lot of folks forget he made the QF in 08 too.)

His game bothered EVERY big 3 member too.

I would LOVE for Theim to fight back and win the FO after Rafa retired. He deserves a FO. He was on FIRE at the FO from 2016 to 2019

I feel the same way about Thiem as I do Delpo

I feel you about Murray. The thing I hated about Murray is that he never developed a "get out of trouble" shot. We know Novak can always rely on his forehand and return of serve, Fed could rely on his forehand and serve, and Rafa could rely on his down the line forehand and lefty topspin....Murray?

Murray could wear down everybody with his defense but like you said against those 3, he didn't have the 1 weapon you absolutely need as a "get out of jail" card. I think that fact blinds people to how great his accomplishments really are considering the era he played in.

What's crazy about Murray and Fed too in retrospect is they NEVER met on clay. I can't wrap my head around it.

Being a Murray fan musta been ROUGH. He'd snipe a win or two vs the Big 3 in the GS but like....I don't think he underachieved and I don't think he overachieved. I think he achieved about what you'd expect. Had he not gotten hurt trying to be #1 in 2016, I think he may have been able to snag another Wimbledon or two and finally an AO.

remember Novak was suppose to be up 2 sets in the 2007 USO vs Fed but just fukking choked. I wanna say BOTH times he was serving for the set and like just double faulted the game back to Fed :dead:

yep he did....first set, serving for the set with 3 set points and choked. Then on Fed's serve in the 2nd set, he was up 15-40 and choked. He was on Nadal's head at the 2007 FO too

The signs were there for Novak in 2007. Just didn't have the mental strength yet

i dont call consistent grinders great players very often

he was a good player with great results
Word soup

He was much more than a grinder, Bautista Agut is a grinder Murray had an all round game. Federer was initially behind in the h2h against Murray until about 2014.

He was a great player with the accolades to match: 3 slams, 46 titles, 14 Masters 1000 series, 2x Olympic Golds etc you don't sound objective to me. You can even say he should have won more slams with his talent.
