I'd say Novak is motivated out of a sense that if he passes them, he feels he'll be loved and celebrated like them but extenuating circumstances makes that unlikely. It's hard to get that kind of love coming after the Fedal, then you have his antics during his younger days that turned off a lot of fans, then you have his antics now that turned off fans...he also doesn't have the backing of Nike & we all know how much Phil knighting you matters.

I never thought about the Nike connection, that's true. But I think it's deeper to me. Federer and Nadal just have that aura about them. Like that walk in the room and everyone loves and reveres them type energy. Djokovic will never have that. He has that John McEnroe energy lol, it is what it is

i remember the story that took place in late 2009 or 2010 with Novak and Andy Murray. Adidas didn’t like the demands from Novak contract wise so they went with Murray and then 2011 happens when Novak became historic. I bet Adidas is SICK

John is a 'lovable' prick, Novak is none of that. Hes a real heel to the bro-mance between fedal and destroyed everyone in his way. I wish he would embrace being hated while kicking ass.

Barty if she stays relatively healthy...could go 3/4 at the majors. She's just beating opponents with consistency and a bag full of tricks

don't underestimate how much promo Nike can throw behind any one athlete and get them out in the public's eye even though I agree with your other points.

& Novak ain't getting Johnny Mac love either...you won't see Novak on Curb with :ld:

Novak and his fam feel disrespected by western media

Is the Medvedev/Stef match really on ESPN+? :gucci:

It's sad American TV programming doesn't give 2 f*cks about the Australian Open or the French Open. I think the French Open might actually be the worst, sometimes it would be relegated to the Tennis Channel only

Wimbledon and the US Open is the only time American TV actually cares about Tennis

It's gonna start at 10 PST at the absolute earliest. They really need to show Around The Horn and PTI reruns that bad on ESPN2? :gucci:

Why get the rights if you aren't gonna air it on fukking television? :gucci:
