u better move to the states while you can.

300K, you will have a nice house in a nice neighborhood either in the city or suburbs out here depending what you wanna do.

Been looking to move out to the states. Toronto with the weather and real estate. Ain't looking too good. Easiest way to jump?

I remember my parents buying their first home for 120k, second home for 309k a big ass house in thornhill Ontario, and their third in woodbridge for 550k that 6 years later is worth 1.3 mill

I remember brand new condos going for 120k

Now nothing, arm and a leg and if you want something cheaper, you spend like ,3 hours a day in bumper to bumper traffic

Are there a lot of tech jobs in the Chi? You work from home right? What kinda industry you in? While I got love for Toronto it definitely looks like I'm not going to settle down here.

To the other Canuck nikkas here - how is it in Montreal? Montreal real estate doesn't seem to be in as much of a crisis as Vancouver and Toronto. Give us a ground report brehs.

I'm not sure if I'm reading your post right but does your fam currently own all three properties? Or did they sell the condo for the Thornhill house and then trade that one for the Woodbridge one? They always say real estate is a great investment. & the funny thing is that salaries haven't really risen all that much to accomodate any of that rampant inflation.

Your fam must be really stacked breh. Good going. :salute: The rest of us young nikkas are fukked though :mjcry:

Hard to get a work visa

You ever watch those home shows on TV and you see folks paying like 300kfor a mega mansion
