They don't let black people get to a certain point. You should be happy with where you're at...that's it. There's no movement beyond that. Again, I know plenty of black people who are doing well and have good jobs. But they aren't in top roles like President, VP, etc. Those spots are still predominantly for white males. Asians are making moves though. I'm not sure if that will actually benefit us.

I don't know to what degree I can buy into that

Of course theres racism, that's to be expected anywhere,. Clearly theres systemic issues, but I think theres multiple factors at play then just good ole fashioned racism
