Who has done the Toronto to Montreal drive, was going to take the train but cheapest fare I saw was like 250 , so eff it might as well drive.

It's a 5-6 hour drive, depending on how many stops you take and when you drive.
I just looked at via rail 242 one way
Gonna just load up the old accord
Just drive a bit earlier in the morning to avoid traffic and you'll get there quicker.
Or check the via rail site on Tuesday, they have sales for selected routes on Tuesdays. Maybe you'll get lucky
