Average house price in Toronto is damn near $700,000

The Feds have actually tightened the mortgage rules a lot to make sure shyt doesn't get out of hand...its actually a decently regulated market

Even if you wanted to jump into the condo game it's too late now. Developers are totally ripping out customers, cuz demand is so high. Back in the day, developers put more effort into condos cuz they had to sell them / market them to consumers, who ordinarily wouldn't buy condos. They were more spacious, parking was adequate, location was on point ... etc.

But condo is not a very good long term investment right now because a lot of them are being built. Too volatile.

I got my crib in Milton, and even though I miss living in the west end like an amputee misses his arm, I got a great house and that appreciating like a mutha

The problem with the Chinese coming in to buy prperty in the big cities(mostly Toronto and Vancouver, but Montreal its happening to as well)
i that most of the time NO ONE is living in the place. Its just there to park money away from the Chinese Government.
Same thing is starting to happen in the states more. But Canada doesn't have the same RE laws so they are getting fukked over even more.
