takes me like a hour to travel 24km from vaughan to downtown toronto, on a saturay i can do that same drive in 22 minutes

nah that would take me like 2 hours, 400 to black creek, then wherever has less traffic whether it be keele,dufferin etc. till i get to the city core
i work in a hospital on university so it SUCKS, esp since the hospital doesnt have its own parking.

If I didn't know any better I'd think you were exagerrating but it is true. Traffic can really kill commute big time. I've spent over 3 hours in traffic one way (that was caused by an intersection of bad weather and an accident on the highway). & it's getting worse as the years go by, MUCH worse ...

on a more positive note, i hope everyone in here is amped for the playoffs
i'm hopin we make it to the eastern conf. finals but history has shown me not to get my hopes up.
