Also, Toronto/GTA has the worst transit system in the world. Period.

I'd move clear out of the GTA if I could, but how am i going to get to work? The transit system suck.

It's over for black people, especially Caribbeans, in Canada. We'll never get an opportunity like we did in the 70's and 80's. The only black people with brains in their heads are the west Africans.

I went to my old neighborhood Allenbury Gardens a few months back. They tore up half the Government housing units and are working on condos. Theirs already a strong asian presence there now, so I would assume by 2020 they will talk over.

they've moved a good amount of people from the old buildings (Regent) into the new condos.

Man killed in daylight shooting

A man is dead after a daylight shooting in the downtown core Monday.

The victim died right outside Noah Desjardins’ condo in the George-Adelaide Sts. area.

“It was just horrifying to happen in the middle of the day. I heard three separate volleys of shots right outside my balcony,”

said Desjardins.

“There is a school right here and I have seen drug activity, but there are still kids that go to school here. People on the street could have been killed.”

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Det.-Sgt. Steve Ryan.

“We don’t have an identification, but two firearms were recovered at the scene.”

Police are unclear who owned the guns or why they were left at the murder scene.

There were also about a dozen shell casings at the location of the shooting.

A dark blue car was seen leaving the area after the gun fire.

Police were talking to witnesses and checking surveillance camera footage in the area.

Another man, who would only say he was a member of the board for The VU condo complex, said he heard at least 15 shots.

“I hoped that it was construction related, but my first reaction was to keep my distance,” he said.

“When I did come down I saw the victim surrounded by paramedics and police, but shortly after they covered him up.”

There was a ton of cheap housing out there in Ajax/Pickering area. I'm guessing because of that old nuclear power plant. Now alot of them are moving out to Oshawa
