For home phone, your best bet for your parents is to go with an internet phone company to cut costs:

My dad used to use italkbb, the call quality was great but I wouldn't go with them unless you want to sign up with them long term. Cancellation might be difficult because they're a Chinese company.

Both companies will give you a phone adapter that you have to plug into your router, and you have to plug your central cordless unit to the adapter.

where yall see yourself in 10-15 years? seems like friends keep moving into the burbs, not sure what better renting in the city or living in the middle of nowhere.... toronto a crazy place man but something about it i love, in vancouver right now it aint for me

honestly it will be interesting to see how this work remotely goes. If it becomes like a permanent thing why the hell would anyone willingly stay in an expensive azz city

if i can work remotely and only even have to come in like once a month, i'd move to friggin north bay or belleville
if its straight permanent half way across the world :lolbron:
