i know it sucks, ass. Hopefully our generation starts to bring some change. I know enough black women working or studying to become RNs and other medical professionals, i hope they can take over and run management someday. politically, zero none, I don't know any black people involved. I do hear of some somalis trying to get involved. I think we had a somali guy running here in Ottawa with the Conservative Party a elections back.
I work in healthcare for one of the biggest health networks in canada, I'd have to say out of like 300 leaders (ceos/vps/senior directors/directors/managers/supervisors/charges) that there are around 7 blacks
due to this george floyd etc. stuff they finally changed hr policies and the diversity/inclusion when hiring etc. so we shall see.
In the federal government there is only emmanuel dubourg, matthew green and ahmed hussen that are black a total of 3
the black population is 3.5% and we have 3

the south asian population is 4.5% and they have 20
I hate driving downtown one way streets, can't turn here between certain times, stupid bikes that think they own the road, slow streetcars, cars parked taking up one lane, houses that don't have a garage, a lot of crazy mental people, homelessness.
