Been reading a bit on gaf. This thing seems to be inferior to both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Better gpu bottlenecked by inferior memory. That's pretty sad.

it gets worse. your user IDs are tied to the console they were created on and at least at the current moment can't be moved. you can't go on a friend's console and log on to your user ID.

you can have 12 accounts on one console but at least with New Super Mario Bros U those 12 accounts all have to share the same 3 save spaces. with Nintendoland its one.

the more i read on this console the more cringe inducing it becomes. what's the point of having an account based system if you can't log on from other consoles?

these companies need to quit treating paying customers like they're pirates. the real people that are gonna pirate will do it regardless and none of these measures they take really stop piracy. all they're doing is making it hell on the people who pay and are their loyal customers.

i think with better optimized coding it won't be as big a deal...i.e first party AAA titles Mario, Zelda, Metroid....will look at least as good as uncharted technically...IMHO...everything else

considering how easy it was to softmod the wii, i aint even mad that they taking measures this time. i mean, i never modded any of my systems before, i dont download movies and im happy to purchase shyt that is dope but that softmod was one of the easiest shyts i ever seen. if they gotta be extra tight to prevent that from happening, i can understand that, they gotta protect their pockets.

you need to set up your friends list....press the home button and go to friends list to set it up...but the edit was your nintendo ID

What's nintendo's network like? is it comparable to XBL/PSN? for like in game invites and such?

setting up the online is annoying....since the target market seems to be children...not sure if you can play NSMB U online though since my wife enjoys the game i only play it with her....maybe someone else can chime in

Nothing like that. it does have a friend list. i heard you have to add people a specific way and if you just add someone normally they won't be on your friend list unless they add you too.

nah it's similar to xbox/psn after you set your friends list up....you send a friend request and they accept(i've been the one sending the friend request so far) so i'm not sure how it works the other way...what's your ID nicca
