Thats what they get for going pg. I watched wrestling for years dog. Never saw a ppv from 1997-2003. I never even attempted to ask my mom to order one, i wasnt stupid enough to think it was even possible to get her to buy it from me. :lolshaq:

I don't think their problem is going PG at all. Almost every show that runs on basic cable during primetime is PG. It's that their years of mismanagement have come to bite them in the ass. I don't understand how you can be in the entertainment business and be behind on trends and not understand who your consumer base is...I don't understand why they continue to manage their employees as if they are in a high school glee club. I don't understand why they hire writers and producers to challenge their decisions and fire them when they aren't engaging in group-think. Their way of doing things is dumb and archaic but that is never going to change until Vince is gone.

For the first part, a bunch of wrestlers and writers have said that Vince lives in the wrestling bubble. He didn't even watch football before the XFL and didn't know what Scarface was yet he runs a "sports-entertainment company."

Despite Bischoff getting flak I always thought it was genius that he had focus groups watch Nitro in the 90s. The Monday Night Wars basically started because of that decision, which probably led to the most casual fans watching wrestling ever.

Worst ran company ever. This should finally be the nail in the coffin for the Vince is a genius myth. Dudes a one trick pony.

Lol at pay TV channel instead of trying to get 300k people from Canada. Lol at 20 a month. Like that's gonna help, they'll just lose like half the subs and be in the same spot.

Market your product toward a demographic with no wallet brehs :lolshaq:
Why are you takkng such glee in this ? Wwe is a good product even with the flaws and the product since Bryan went down has really improved . Battle grounds has been the worst of the recent ppvs and even that was ok . If this was really Vince's idea ( according to Alex Greenberg exwwe head writer it is as he had been discussing it since 2005) it is a genius idea the real flaw has been in whoever he got behind the marketing and stuff on the network . That and whoever told him they could get all these subscribers quickly and double their tv rights . Increased tv rights >>>> saying double tv rights and they should of trumpeted the first release of subscriber numbers as saying wwe was doing a ground breaking product nothing like it and was satisfied with growth and it will keep improving as they refine the network . Instead they overpromoted everything got investors hyped , failed and then tried to apply the same draconian stuff they do to wwe employees to the wallstreet crowd by not answering questions which doesn't wotk and makes them look inept . Firing all that staff makes wwe look bad and that they don't know what they are doing . Vince needs to have less yesmen around him

I know that Vince operates in a bubble, but I still can't believe he doesn't try to see what's popular on TV, movies, sports, etc...it's just dumb.

The product is shyt and vince is a moron. Did Vince want a TV channel? Yes, but in no way was he any part of thinking of making WWE Netflix. Its laughable to even think Vince knows what a netflix or hulu is :mjlol:

nikkas like me copped the Network thinking old nitros and raws and hardcore tv were on there. Im figuring out how to cancel it now, but that el generico vs cesarro match on NXT is a 5 star classic :patrice:

Product improved? You really saying this after THREE consecutive shytty PPVs? I wouldn't pay a cent to watch Payback, MITB, or Battleground. There's some good stuff but the shows as a whole are not great. The network is a great idea but the product does not warrant 10 dollars a month.

What qualifies as a "shytty" ppv to you? Payback was a great PPV. MITB was good too, ppl just downplayed it b/c Cena won.

You guys overrate the attitude era so much acting like every ppv was GOAT status. If you go back and watch you'd see otherwise.

You're not paying $10 just for a PPV with the zillion other things are on the Network

How are those PPVs great? Payback was a two match show, both rematches, and only one delivering. MITB was also a two match show but the ME was uninspired, the briefcase ladder match was great though.

The WWE has plenty of talent to put on entertaining PPVs. The fact that they're selling PPVs with only one or two matches that are of interest is disconcerting. I do concede that Summerslam is shaping up to be a great PPV with Lesnar/Cena, Rollins/Ambrose, Steph/Brie, Reigns/Orton, Paige/AJ and Jericho/Wyatt all getting a sufficient amount of build.. But that just proves they only put effort into their major PPVs. I'm not paying 120 dollars a year for a service when there's only two PPVs the WWE care about.

I think the network is an amazing idea but the WWE has to put effort into presenting a product that people want to pay to see all year round, not just when subscriptions are up.

They were not shytty at all:snoop: you guys man . Battleground was iffy but the loss of Ambrose/Rollins hurt it . MITB and payback were both good ppvs if you can't enjoy those shows why are you even watching wrestling ??? I watch a lot of old wwe Ppvs they aren't so much above these at all
