:childplease: shyt I remember I was saying he was the best since way back in 03 in fukking middle school. But, unanimously, without-out a doubt he was the best player from 06-09 imo. 2010, Bron had the better season, but Kobe won the ring, plus the media was all against Bron, especially during after that Celtics fukkery in the 2nd round, so it depends on regular season and postseason play. But, shyt even in 2003 and 2004, I thought he was up there as the best player in 03, but Duncan got that and did work in the 03 playoffs. And in 04, IDK KG was the Most Valuable Player to his team, but I still thought it was 50/50 of who was a better between Kobe and KG as a PLAYER. :ehh: Kobe probably would have won MVP that year if the Lakers finished 1st in the West, but Malone got hurt, and Phil went back to the triangle in the season, even though I remember the Lakers had that great start and were practically playing Run-N-Gun basketball, but Malone got hurt, and the lack of depth on the Lakers squad was :scusthov: But, Kobe wasn't gonna get an MVP regardless due to Colorado. But, in 04, I would say it was 50/50 between KG and Kobe. :yeshrug:

How are we defining best? Most skilled? most talented? most complete player? If that's the case Bryant has always been right there from the moment his prime began in 2001.

I would say 2006-2008 were the only years he was the Undisputed best player. Particularly in 08' when he combined RS with PS dominance only to face one of the 5 best Defensive teams ever in the Finals. That was the only year he was the best in the RS AND The PS

Every other year he was in the mix

I don't remember VC being compared to MJ, even when he was in Toronto.

:what:

You either got Alzheimer or you just a lying motherfukker. Pretty much every elite perimeter player in the game has been compared to Jordan since his first retirement.

that he was never the best player in the league?! Are nikkas really serious about this?! And I have seen this on this forum one multiple occasions.

That shyt just :mindblown:

He was the best player in the league for at least 4 years, from 2006 - 2009.

Stanning aside, I really don't get it.

In this time span :lolbron: won MVP 2x.

Or he wasn't watching basketball back then.

Back then people thought Carter was going to be better than Kobe and end up being the next Jordan.

In regards of MJ, Kobe, and James, most posters make the worst argument because they are either bias or hating. There are no grey area when it comes to these players.. Kobe and Lebron stans are just as worst as MJ fans. Even the haters are bunch of dyckriding b!tches.

Steve Nash won back to back MVP's, let that sink in. Kobe should have a minimum of 2 MVP's, but you know what they say...

If if and buts were candy and nuts(no homo)...
