Shaq has one MVP. The award is bullshyt.

no it isnt. shaq has one bc he never stayed healthy enough to play 78+ games. best believe if he played 80 games or more in 2001 and 2002 he would've won the award

other players were also on all nba 1st team and all nba defensive 1st teams. other players won mvps, gold medals etc. the only thing in your post other players didnt do were the crazy high scoring games, and the arbitrary scoring streaks, which makes it look like thats what you use to differentiate between players

:comeon:

NOBODY IN THE NBA FROM 2006-2011 WAS fukkING WITH KOBE BEAN BRYANT:ufdup:

From 2006-2011.....Kobe Bryant is the ONLY player in the NBA to be voted All-NBA 1st Team and All-Defensive 1st Team in every single year.

Nobody else accomplished that. Not LeBron, Not Wade, Not Tim Duncan, Not nobody:birdman:

During that time period (From 2006-2011), he averaged 29.1 pts, 5.5 rebs, 5.0 assts, and 1.5 stls per game on 45.8% FG....went to 3 NBA Finals, Won 2 NBA Championships, Won 2 NBA Finals MVPs, Won 1 NBA MVP, Was a 6x All-Star, Was 6x All-NBA 1st Team, and Was 6x All-Defensive 1st Team.

Yall need to get the hell outta here with that bullshyt and use some common fukking sense. Talking about some damn PER and Win shares:heh:

Who led the League in "Win Shares" in 2009 and 2010?

Now, who WON THE FINALS MVP in those years? I thought so. fukk a "win share"...who won the important games? Get those nerdy ass over analyzing shyts the fukk outta here:pacspit:

The eye test isn't always the best judged because people are biased. It's why people think Lebron isn't a good shooter or only drives to the hole. But stats need context too. Lebron's ability to shift defenses, read rotations, and can't be completely shown by stats either.

People need to stop bringing up Lebron getting swept. He dragged an awful team to the finals, was leading his team in almost every single category, and balling out if his mind but one man cannot win on the playoffs when defensive intensity skyrockets and teams can plan around you completely. Lebron was taking a D-League against one of the GOAT-paint defenders and one of the most consistent coaches ever.

The reason people think Kobe is better than Lebron is because he has a prettier game. That's it. Kobe's best season isn't as good as Lebron who scores comparable points on less shots and none of Kobe's post season runs we're better than Lebron's.

I hear people STILL saying Lebron can't close despite the fact he's hit just as many game winners as Kobe (In the playoffs) despite taking 10 less. Lebron was a leading 4th quarter scorer for multiple years. Simply put, Lebron's game is just dominant and effective but it's not as like because it isn't pretty.

Lebron will take the smarter shot and make the right play. He'll drive into the paint until you play him for it and then he'll hit the jumper when you give him space. He doesn't need to break you down off the dribble and do all the fancy stuff. He'll score as many points as he needs to and then he'll start kicking it out when defenses focus on him.

He attacks when the defenses are weakest like during transition and do forth

It is the same because, you're not supporting your "home team" either.

Maybe he's just a Lakers fan because that's his favorite team period like you are a Golden State Warriors/Sacramento Kings fan (if that's even possible to be a fan of 2 teams at the same time):manny:

I wasnt really trying to diss you, but point out the hypocrisy of your statement.

Kobe Bryant is the most unfairly hated player to ever play the game. It's really inexplicable.
This is the bullshyt with Kobe fanboys that turns people off. Not agreeing that Kobe has ever been the single best player in the league isn't hate, it's an opinion. I agree that Kobe has never ben the single best player in the league but that's not a dis. Put the crack pipe down and stop whining like a bytch because others don't like your mancrush as much as you do.

No, he was never the best player in the league. 2008 is the only year he got a legit case, but I'd still place KG and possibly CP3 ahead of him.

He's been consistently good though, just never the best.

You might could say he had a better season or two here and there but I wouldn't count that as him being the better player. Circumstances play a role in that, especially if its only one or two seasons of him being "better". To me you have to have a stretch of seasons to be considered the best and by saying Wade was a better player in some years would mean he was the best in the league and we can all agree :washedwade: has never been the best player in the league. Among them yes, the p4p best tho? :dahell:

There are areas where Kobe isn't good as Wade. For example, attacking the paint is Wade's specialty, which he has been better player in that aspect than Kobe. Also, Wade is the better playmaker and always has been the better defender. Beside post moves and perimeter shooting there isn't anything else that Kobe could do better than Wade.
L
Wade was not a better defender than kobe or playmaker
