:russ: catching feelings I see.....don't have any rebuttal to the fact every player, coach, and GM said Kobe's the best

remember that MVP voting is done by the media NOT the coaches/GMs/players.....people who actually know basketball know whats up

BTW Shaq only has one as well.....while Steve Nash has two

NBA writers have alot to answer for. Kobe and Shaq's being the most glaring. They are the two best players post-MJ IMO and its a joke that they have as many MVPs combined as Steve fukkin Nash who has never even played in the finals. :snoop:

EVERY player, GM and couch said Kobe was the best, or a select few?

Having discussions with Kobe stans is futile. They never use logic, and whenever presented with arguments that counter their asinine arguments, they ignore it.

They only say "the eye test" cause they know any other metric used will show players clearly better in the years they say Kobe is/was the best.

And using video of Lebron saying Kobe was better is pointless. Sports isn't music. Sports are based on facts, not preference...not opinions. But FACTS that can be checked out and qualified by numbers. There's been plenty of players who said their peers were better than them, but weren't. It could just be them being humble, or them just not realizing how much of an impact they have on the game. That happens. But someone saying "So and so is better than me" isn't a logical argument and proves nothing.

lol at desperate ass kobestans bringing up his all-nba defense selections as though he deserved them. Chris Paul got all-nba defense 1st team this year. It's an absolutely meaningless honor now, especially when you haven't deserved it since 2002 like Kobe.

And Lebron has been the best in the NBA since 2008. The only years Kobe had a strong argument were 2001 and 2009.

that he was never the best player in the league?! Are nikkas really serious about this?! And I have seen this on this forum one multiple occasions.

That shyt just :mindblown:

He was the best player in the league for at least 4 years, from 2006 - 2009.

Stanning aside, I really don't get it.

You're fukking delusional. I had Kobe being the best player in the league for 1 year, that's 05-06. LeBron been easily the best player snce 06-07. Kobe stans make me sick.

Norfeast groovin…
Derrick Rose will regain his muscle memory and peace will be forged in the Middle East before there's ever agreement on Kobe. It is what it is, we was just destined to be on different sides of the conflict. If you actually believe Kobe has never been the best player in the league that's for you to choose.

from 02-09 kobe was better than wade in all those categories with the exception to defense which is arguable..ok maybe better playmaker but definitely not better at attacking the basket, plus wade wasnt as durable as kobe which is an underrated thing. and kobe was and is a better closer.

Their careed averages are nearly identical.

How was kobe the best in 02-05 when

2002 - He wasn't even the best player on his own team
2003 - With Shaq injured Kobe "led" the lakers to a 3-9 record
2004 - Piston finals
2005 - 34-48 finished 2-19 when he came back from his ankle sprain

Kobe was general consensus best from 05-09. I'm sitting back looking at this revisionist history.
Get the fukk outta here. Speak for yourself.
So you guys are saying that Kobe was only the best player in the league for 2 years or less?

:what:
I'm saying that Kobe was never the clear cut best player in the league for any particular year. There's always been a legit case for somebody else being better than Kobe. That's not even a dis to Kobe.
