It makes a difference when there's no replay value. 5-10 hours, no MP, very little incentive to play again is just :dwillhuh: At least cut the retail price in half or more.

Replay value is all in the eye of the beholder though. If the game (any game really) was fun enough to you to go thru it 1nce, that alone could garner it replay value to you to beat multiple times. Most of the "classick" games ya'll fawn over in nostalgia could be beating in that timeframe or less too and the only replay value that was there was just that, replaying thru the game enjoying that same experience again.

I liken the timeframe of a game to a movie in terms of time to monetary value. Seeing a movie on the big screen is anywhere from 10-20 bucks a ticket for roughly 2 hours of your time. A SP game is usually 4-5 times longer than that, so 50-60 bucks is the right opening price for that experience. Plus, with all the multitudes of venues to get games for less than that day 1 even anyways, on top of games having considerable sales a mere 3-4 months later, I don't see the complaint at all for short games. Unless you the type of gamer that only can or only prefers to play 2-3 games a year, why would you want every game to be long as fukk?

Ionno about ya'll, but I know for any SP game, I don't try to rush thru the first play thru, usually stretch it out longer myself just exploring things, both within styles of playing the game or just exploring the world, so my time spent is usually at least 3-4 hours longer than the "average" 1st time play thru anyway. And I buy anywhere from 20-40 games a year, but may only beat 12 or so, so having long as games does not really benefit me.

Not true at all. If this were true there would never even be a discussion about replay value.

Other games offer different experiences/options/strategies on subsequent play throughs. The order does not.

I'm the exact same way. Although I'll probably be clearing my backlog like a mufukka being in Europe for 15 weeks next month for work. :mjcry:

Entirely down to whether or not the gameplay is good, which we don't know yet.

This game length is all retarded honestly.
So all the previews from people who played it at E3 2013, 2014 and all the other game shows before and after it. But we don't know how it plays you say :mjlol:

Selective seeing FTW :blessed:
fukk all this bullshyt y'all talking. Is the game really 3hrs long?
There is no bullshyt, and that is what we are talking about. Yes, 3hrs bruh. But if you include the cutscenes its like 6/7hrs :whew:

MGS4, eat your heart out :mj:

Now, I gotta break this delusional fakkits post down because there is all types of fanboy wrong going on in here...
Really it just comes down to replayability if its worth the money.
How the fukk can a 3hr game that has another 3hrs of cutscens that you can't skip. How is that even capable of being replayable? It seriously has the shelf life of MGS:GZ :bryan:
At least in that game you can bullshyt, in this? You on the clock, the whack-a-mole inspired game ain't got time for you/that
Resident evil 1-3 were just fun games and I loved replaying. Probably beat them 20-30 times each.
So this nikka claims he BEAT Res 1,2,3 20x each, 60 play thru's.
What you do after that, throw the winning TD pass for your highschool, then was voted Prom King?
Sure sounds like it :skip:
Will the order have replayability?:yeshrug: Its up to your own tastes. I just know my personal tastes it looks great but I sure as fukk aint paying $69.99 for it which is how expensive games are here in Canada.
Damn, dis nikka already convinced himself AFTER I TOLD HIM 100x that the game is ass.
So why was it a negative when I read the same reviews a year ago? What happened?
An to be honest these days I dont replay games. My backlog is about 80 games deep. I dont have time to beat games once let alone play them again.$29.99 and you got a deal. But I feel that way about 99% of games so.
Because 99% of games on the playstation make you feel that way bruh. Come to the greener side and :eat:
Im still gonna buy this game, reguardless.... :manny:
The Secret Struggle of Sony Stans :heh:
What a toxic thread.
Once the results came back, that is how you would feel :umad:
One person's opinion is gospel now for everyone? :skip:
Its the sony stan way
Between the UK, Czech Republic, and Belgium
I don't know any Trill nikkaz who have taken a trip to those places in that order. Sounds like some caveman moves.
You carrying caveman luggage bruh :ez:
:mjlol: @ being able to get a Plat Trophy in this without even having to beat it on the Hardest Difficulty

Its whack a mole bruh, there is no real hard setting. Without touching the game, I can tell you what the harder difficulties do. Take off more damage. Everything else will be the same. Same whack-a-mole gameplay = same challenge. Just less chances to duck :laff:
