I said this joint would be bargain bin status off of the info I had gathered on it months ago. These devs have to do better.

How you gonna release a single player game that's short as shyt and not even include coop or a multiplayer? It's good to see this game get shytted on. Yal shytted on Ryse but now yal turning around and buying this? For full price? Hell nah
Ryse was third person shooter?
Two games can be considered ass for completely different reasons.
The only similarities is they're both considered gfx showpiece. Mechanically they're very different.

The Order: Impressive visuals and sound direction, mediocre 3rd person gunplay and a ridiculous amount of QTEs.
Ryse: Impressive visuals and sound direction, mediocre action gameplay and a ridiculous amount of QTEs.

The Order had bad markerting in which the developers compared the game to a $100 Steak. nikka I am not wasting $100 on no damn steak.

Ryse had bad marketing because Crytek celebrated developer crunch time as if it's dedication and not forced labor

Both games were worked on for about five or so years.
I mean, they really are one in the same

Honestly I expected this game to get mauled review wise but damn...Complete evisceration.

Sony 1st party efforts are off to a slow start. Giving PS3 an strong sendoff in 2013 kinda hurt PS4 a bit. Games like Beyond,GT6 and Puppeter should have launch titles. They will bounce back though.

They're not the same game. The gameplay for one doesn't mean you'll enjoy the other. I don't see how you can think someone who don't like Ryse's gameplay wouldn't like the gameplay in a third person shooter. :mindblown:

I'm saying people shytted on it because it was considered a shallow game with good visuals. But didn't Ryse even have a MP portion? So some melee combat game like Ryse got a multiplayer, but the devs of the Order didn't think it would be a good idea to add a MP in a damn shooting game?

:laff:

I could see this coming from miles away. The only way this game was going to appease the majority was if the campaign was lengthy and contained excellent gameplay. They failed at delivering that so they gettin' that work from reviewers. Only people defending this shyt are stans.

Pretty games attract stupid people.

That isn't true at all. Wii had its gems. It wasn't until the later half of the gen where support completely dried up.

No one wasn't buying the Wii for it's games, because they were only interested in the concept. At best theyd' buy Mario and stick to Wii Sports. In fact this is proven due to the overwhelming sales of NSMBWii and how hard Wii Sports Resort bombed.

A lot of those good games on Wii by both Nintendo and 3rd party? Bombed /hard./ The Wii was the message that 3rd party cannot survive on a Nintendo console.

Nintendo drove that Wii money all the way to the bank, they and Nintendo stans should not be surprised that the Wii-U is :flabbynsick: right now.

...Smash is hot tho

You're making an argument towards something I"m not making. Let me put it simply:

Just because Ryse is shallow and was shytted on for it's shortcomings doesn't mean a different game's shortcomings wouldn't be entertaining to someone.

How?? Ryse is a melee focused game that's often seen as repetitive and boring. The setting and theme is also imo boring as hell.

The Order is a TPS game that it's shortcomings are: Too short, No unlockable modes, no MP, competent gameplay which is too sparse throughout the game.

The setting and theme is completely different. It's not "weird" to want to play that instead of Ryse.

Sayiing "they both have mediocre gameplay and amazing visuals" makes it seems like they're both the exact same game both mechanically and stylistically.

It's like saying you wouldn't enjoy

So I guess people who like "pretty" games such as TLOU, Uncharted, Gears of War(which was a graphical showpiece at launch last gen) etc are "stupid people" right?? :beli:

I'm pretty stupid since my favorite game of all time looks like a PS2 game and I'm also stupid since I'm enjoying Dark Souls right now huh??

:whoa: Hold on, fella. You taking this too close to the chest. Chill.

Casuals like visuals. Always have, always will. Casuals don't care about the gameplay. Hell casuals still think CoD is a visual stunner (which it ain't.)

If the only redeeming value of a game is it's visuals, and it's the only thing people can praise than it says a lot of the game.

I don't know why you brought in Gears and TLoU as examples because those games actually have very tight, versatile and enjoyable gameplay unlike The Order (Uncharted is cheeks)

and Dark Souls in comparison to games like CoD are visually more stunnig because the appeal lies in it's art direction and not the visual fidelity of it's graphics.

Stupid people are the ones that call Dark Souls, Binary Domain, Yakuza 'ugly' games. when in reality they have a lasting visual appeal more than these photorealistic wankfests.

Uncharted is cheeks? :dcwtf:That's your opinion and all, but I'm not taking your opinions on games seriously anymore. :manny:
