Non of the gameplay is QTE really, that is a misconception by bad reviewers bruh.

Yes and no. When you kill a person a skull appears over that persons head. you can then trigger a QTE by pressing RB is it? It goes within the flow of the game, you don't press the button you can just stab n kill the guy without the QTE. But the QTE isn't the right name for it. A QTE traditionally is something like during a special cut-scene that lets you interact with it. This is more of a zoom in/slow down of gameplay, then it speeds back up again. Similar, yet completely different. And after playing thru the entire game? It is not a negative. You find yourself trying to unlock more and more Zoom in combos. It worked fantastic. But since somebody somewhere who never actually played it said it sucked. Word of mouth killed this game off before people had a chance to see for themselves. fukkin shame, but that is the fanboy world we live in :francis:

Tru Story

You showed off your games collection, and so I see where you are failing as a gamer. Yup, you right around that age too :wow: See bruh, when you have too many games on your plate, you can't really enjoy any of them. Reality is any game you can have fun with it for months. We all did as kids. As adults we try to cram in 100games a minute. PC/Consoles/Phones/etc. So we can't really learn a game inside and out like we used to. I say all this because Infamous is NOTHING like Sunset Overdrive... at all :stop:
Only graphically, thats it. Feel, gameplay? Nah...

NeoGAF is repesenting the entire gaming industry. It gets called that, people believe it, so they go there.
Its teh reason you even know what NeoGAF is. Its influence is real, just like peoples influence on this little site is real. All you need is a starving mob of gamers and next thing you know Killzone tops the preorder list :patrice:

The game literally slows down to a near halt and prompts you with what button to press as you finish off every single enemy. That is a QTE. That's cool you're having fun with it though.

And I still have all my stuff because I don't have to trade them in for next weeks rent every other month.

Having no games means you fail as a gamer. Having too many games means you fail as a gamer. What's that magical sweet spot figure then that makes you a winner as a gamer? Let me guess. It will equal however many exclusives Xbox has.

The Order just sucked. Plain and simple.

The problem was it didnt even know what it wanted to be... It didnt know if it wanted to be an interactive movie game like Heavy Rain, a third person shooter like Gears or a action linear game like Uncharted. If it were to just be a full interactive movie game like Heavy Rain or The Walking Dead then things would have been okay. No it just didnt know what it wanted to be.

There were too many damn QTE, too long cut-scenes/talking, shooting was repetitive and the enemies like the werewolves which the game was supposedly about were hardly featured. Angry Joes review summed it up.

PS: Ryse Son of Rome sucks too while we're at it. Crytek is an overrated studio that is obsessed with high end graphics and lackluster gameplay.
Whoa Crytek made Crysis which is a good FPS. But I guess I only liked them

Nah, its just that you new nikkaz try to come up with your own definitions of games :ld:
You see bruh, Double Dragon is a fighting game. Some nerd on PC then said "Nah, thats a beat'em'up
That's cool if the rest of the guys with pocket protectors call it that, but nah

Now arcade titles. Pocket nerds call them indies. Even if its made by a major developer these same dudes call it indies cuz they don't know the difference :snoop:
And now when discussing which system has more games/exclusives. The nerds group up indies with retail or arcade titles to make it appear like the PS4 has the same or even more games to play :laff:

I wish I made all this shyt up. RYSE tho, is a fighting game. Any fighting game has ACTION. Any fighting game should be an adventure unless it was a Vs Fighting game (thats what we used to call them in my day :old: )

Wrong, its MOSTLY that. But I always drop a gem somewhere :spin:
If you wanna call a game that you fight in, not a fighting game? Ok
But I can assure you Golden Axe was never called an action adventure game
Or Streets of Rage

Its a communication issue where you new nikkaz lack. Cuz right now you acting like you can't even comprehend what is being taught here. Since you can upgrade your executions in RYSE, all it takes is one reviewer to call it an Action RPG and you'll go "Yeah, it has RPG elements!!!"

GTFOH... An action adventure game would be something like Beyond Good and Evil.. shyt like that.

Ryse is repetitive drivel.

:mjlol:
I tried to play Ryse and I don't know if I lasted 2 hours with it. I made it to the jungle level and put the game down and never played it again. As for the Order 1886 I loved it. Finished it a few days after it came out.

I guess it'll likely never be officially confirmed that the franchise is dead but this situation is kinda like Heavenly Sword and Ninja Theory. Game didn't light the world on fire and Sony cut Ninja Theory loose. Nothing they've done since then has really caught on and Heavenly Sword was one and done.
