What does one have to do with another?

Because they blantantly omit comedies, acting as if comedy doesn't exist...however when it's time to select a host, it's "let's look at the list of comedians." As a comedian, you will never be acknowledged for a comedic role by the Academy, but there's a slight chance thhat you can host. Hence, "irony."
