Honestly I would recommend going with an AMD card if its not a titan. I think they won this generation of the video card battle and that is tough for an NVIDIA fanboy to admit :to:

I recommend the 7950, they are both about the same when it comes to performance and it comes with free copies of Crysis 3 and BioShock Infinite.

Plus I don't think I like that psu, I will dig in a bit more in a couple of minutes.

So, where do I go to make the games fit fullscreen on my system?

I tried Hawken and it has borders, and I ran RE5 and it's in a window that's sized awkward as shyt. I put the game in fullscreen in the game's settings menu and it still is not taking up my entire monitors screen.

duly noted

I stand by what I said. obviously there's always the option to spend more money

ignoring sales and whatnot, the 670 is $380, the 660ti is $300, and the 660 is $230

will i still need that 360dcx bullsh1t or is this plug and play?

Can you not read? I said its plug and play! Assuming your running windows

Have you installed the AMD Catalyst Drivers? Have you set the right resolution in game?

Yeah I did that a while ago because initially my entire system had a border around it.

I set the resolution to 1080p in the game, and I set it in 720p and they both don't let me view it in fullscreen.

Hawken just has the border, but RE5 is in this dumb ass window that I can't even maximize

I'm assuming your desktop resolution is also 1080 correct? Either way I'm thinking its something in your driver so look through the settings. Try setting them to default or updating them (clean install) if you can't find what setting is causing the borders in games.

My Dualshock 2 (PS2 controller) is plug n play to. Just so happens the main 4 buttons are all randomized and not aligned to the 360's layout tho

with that controller i won't have to use 320ce or any program like that to correct the buttons is what im asking

:ohhh:

Yeah, I'm a have to sit down and go through it.

I admit, I didn't really toy around with the driver settings while running this. When I have some more time I'll dabble with it some more.

No that would make your DS3 NOT plug and play. It would be plug, configure, then play. Windows has all the needed drivers for the Xbox controller built in. You simply plug in your controller and all buttons and functions are automatically mapped correctly and ready to go. No additional mapping software or configuration modes nikka. You're making this far more complicated than it seems. Stop confusing the complicated DS3 setup to the simple goodness of that Xbox gaming setup

Ok...

So from the past few pages, the way to go is wired 360 controller or a Logitech alternative. I'm not copping another 360 controller cause that shyt is 36 bucks. 2guns dropped the link for that wireless receiver for the 12. Does that work well? Will it be as simple as plugging that into a USB and my wireless 360 controllers working? Or is it just ok compared to a wired joint?

I haven't even looked into configuring a PS3 pad.
