GTX 970 for 250$ Thanks me later :heh:
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 249.99 + FS (20now for first time customers) @ Jet.com
(You can get it like 5$ cheaper as well if u use a debit card)

Copped up on a 970 2 weeks ago. Join the winning team breh :blessed:
I'm new to pc, but :ohhh: How long this deal last, and how exactly do i get it (before checkout mine only lowers to $280)? I was just about to upgrade from my bricked 670 to a 970 sometime this week. Do they accept Vanilla Gift Cards (it's sort of like a debit card)?:hamster:

Edit: How is your your 970 holding up? Cause I read the comments from the website, and i'm not sure the 970 is suppose to be reaching 79-80c on stock settings. I might still buy though if the deal is still going.

Edit2: There's also this one: XFX Radeon R9 390 R9-390P-8256 for $260.91 after CC @ Jet

but when you click on get deal, it says it's a 380, not a 390. If it's a 390, i might take a risk and go with that (i do only got 500w tho). Either way i think i'm good, even tho my fx 6300 is :flabbynsick:. That probably be my next upgrade, much later down the road tho.

My 970 is running beautifully. I haven't heard any noise from it yet. However I will say the only "demanding" game I've been running so far is the Street Fighter V beta.

The real test comes when Rise of The Tomb Raider drops.

I might just torrent some high settings game tonight and just see how my video card holds up.

As far as the slickdeals thing I know you have to be a first time customer. Once you sign up you put the code in the "redeem coupon" box and it should drop down. Then when u go to check out if you put in a debit card it will take off like another 5% at the final screen before you hit "buy"

Humble Bundle is having a winter sale. I already picked up some good indies for pretty cheap. It goes on until next Thursday. Might be worth a look, if you want to get some cheap indies :yeshrug:

Guys this is the build i plan on getting in a couple of weeks in time for Xcom 2. Its not much, but i dont game too much and xcom 2 is really the only game im looking forward to this yr. Had a decent gaming laptop, but the motherboard died, and i refuse to pay £320 to get it shipped.
Concerning the cpu and gpu, i was considering a g3258 and a gtx 750 ti at first, then figured i might as well go the extra mile. Also note, i can order parts from the US and have them to the UK for free, (UK prices for electronics are fukking stupid) so i was wondering if anyone would really recommened i go for an i5 with a gtx 970/r9 390. Going up another £200 -£250 is not a problem, but i really don't wanna buy something im not gonna take full advantage of. Plus i plan on upgrading to a top of the line gaming build in summer 2017.

Intel Core i3-4170, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960, Cooler Master N200 - System Build - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

Edit: Dead. Looking at some of the links posted. Im figuring i can just buy everything US and have it shipped over to me. Can even use the money i'd save to upgrade everything.
