I think I'm going to build a VR PC for my living room. Anyone have any good ideas on components for a midsize VR capable unit that would look decent in an entertainment center? My wife insists it must look nice or she won't let me put in in the living room.

Need a nice looking, high quality case as recommendation as well as high quality internal options. Would like to keep it under $1000 and it should last at least 3-5 years without excessive upgrade requirements.

Help needed.

I'd go with an mitx build for the living room unless you want to have room for a future multi-gpu set up. I recently switched my system over from a Corsair 250D to a NZXT Manta (Black window version). You can also look into the Fractal Nano S if going ITX.

    • Perfectly designed to fit snugly under your palm, the ergonomic shape of the Razer DeathAdder Chroma gives gamers the most comfortable gaming experience ever, especially during the most testing of battles.
    • The Razer DeathAdder Chroma is equipped with a 10,000dpi optical sensor. It is capable of mouse movement speeds of up to 200 inches per second and 50g acceleration.
    • Whether your playing at fast or low speeds, the Deathadder Chroma will always respond onscreen with exacting accuracy and the organic fluidity only possible with an optical sensor.

:jbhmm:

Going to be 60 bucks with next day shipping... Only has 2 thumb buttons on the side, but that seems perfect for me.

Cop this shyt like 3 weeks ago. It's dope as fukk. I don't really use mouses for gaming but when I do shyt feels piff with this mouse. Comfortable as fukk without all these crazy ass buttons that my old mouse use to have.

Still haven't installed my new 1080s because Nvidia hasn't released the new sli bridge. They keep telling me it'll happen in a few days, but it never does. They're just sitting in their boxes. :beli:

I asked if I could use my old sli bridge, and they're like "maybe, but sli might not be supported with the old bridge." I guess I'll keep waiting :mjcry:

How are you gonna release a new card, tout it's new SLI bridge, but not have it for sale? :dwillhuh:

Nvidia...step your game up

Yeah, I dunno what nvidia was thinking. They shoulda had the new sli bridges in stock when the 1080s come out. They say a couple more days though. If it's not by the end of the week, I dunno, I'll just try to use my old bridge

call me crazy but i'm willing to bet that someone high up at Nvidia did this specifically to upset you personally.
i wouldn't be surprised if they sent you 2 1080's that have special firmware programmed into them that will
cause the cards to self destruct if the old SLi bridge is used...and they are counting on you to do just that.

Razer mice are iffy. Don't stick with the Synapse drivers. I could go into deep detail but Logitech makes the best mice overall.

Most importantly you've bought one based on comfort so there's that. Just use Synapse once to configure then uninstall. Stay away from Synapse. :whoa:

+1. Always find Razor mice buggy and unreliable. Logitech >>>
