What is your overall budget? The 3570K is still a beast and I believe it STILL won't bottleneck a 1080.I'd have to get a new motherboard too now that I'm researching these CPUs.

I'm just trying to stream some games on my PC without it lagging to shyt. My upload is fine, so it's not that. I've been messing with settings in OBS for a day and it doesn't matter what I mess with the stream is just freezing consistently. If it's not the CPU what is it? Overwatch is running between 60-70fps for the most part. If it's something I can tweak, I'll be all for it.
I tried messing with some stuff in BIOS but after upgrading to Win 10 I can't even access the shyt anymore
I don't think it's your CPU. Think about it, PS4/Xbox One streams games fine online at 30fps so if it' slagging on your setup which is obviously much stronger it's probably something else. That CPU is fine for streaming and gaming.3570K...

No, overclock. But again, I can't get to the BIOS/UEFI settings to even do it now after upgrading to Win 10.
I'll look into it. I was googling around yesterday and couldn't really find a way to get in there. Going to see if I can find an app like you're suggesting

No, I haven't but I think @2gunsup and @Ruck86 have. You might want to ask them. I've moved on from straight 1440p to 3440x1440 ultrawides. I'd rather have more Ks and screen real estate than above 60hz. 60 fps is fine for me. Plus at my new resolution (basically 3K), hitting 60 is about all you're gonna get at all ultrapaging @Ciggavelli

Have you tried setting your resolution to 720p and your upload mbs to 3 mbs with a constant variable so it doesn't spike? Sorry if that's been mentioned skimming through so of these last few post.
