just got my 3rd SSD the other day. I got a 125, 250, and 500gb. I guess 1tb is next :heh:
I am trying to get rid of all spinning drives in my house. It has even gotten a bit extreme in where I used a bonus on a 1TB SSD for my PS3...its worth more than twice the system costs itself, but I am happy because it loads fight night champion faster :snoop:

My brand new 1080s are still sitting unopened because nvidia still won't put the new bridge up for sale :stopitslime:

Nvidia even told me to keep my Titan Xs installed until the new bridge is released because the old bridge will cut performance in half :dwillhuh:

Come on nvidia. Get your shyt together. I wanna use my damn cards I spent $1500 on.

They keep saying, "oh it'll be soon," but it never is. What the fukk is nvidia doing? :mindblown: :smh:

Maybe you guys can help me out. I been interested in building my own computer. Haven't had one in a few years. I want to get into them again and maybe learn some coding or programming after. Something to better myself. I just want to start with building one. I'll get the pieces as I'm able. I just want to know if you guys know of any good sites to help me out? I thought there was a thread but the search function isn't fully working. I've been out of the loop lately but I'm sure I can figure it out. And it'll be a good project for me to partake in. Looking to build a gaming/media computer so I'd likely buy the video card near the end to get the latest ones. Any help will be appreciated. Anyone that had built their own, feel free to drop some general advice.

One thing people should keep an eye out for is refurbs on sites like newegg.

One seller had a Core i7 3770 with 8GB RAM + 500GB HDD HP refurb for $199. That shyt sold out in minutes...the parts alone were worth way more than that. I understand it's not better than building out new, but you will be hard pressed to build something better than that for $200. Clean it up inside out, remove cpu and reapply high quality thermal paste, buy a quality 600W-700W PSU and you have a monster starter that is VR ready once you add a GPU (RX 480) for $440-$450 total.

I am not sure why I hesitated as it would have been a nice build to start off for my mom.

call me crazy but i'm willing to bet that someone high up at Nvidia did this specifically to upset you personally.
i wouldn't be surprised if they sent you 2 1080's that have special firmware programmed into them that will
cause the cards to self destruct if the old SLi bridge is used...and they are counting on you to do just that.

:ohlawd:
Plot Twist: You're a higher up at Nvidia :banderas:

It still amazes me how the video cards and the processors get better and better. Yet Hardware components like HD webcam are still not wireless. And while we have wireless mouse, why do they still need to make the clicking sound?

$60 AR is low end :ohhh:

Had no idea the keyboard market was like this :ohhh:

I mean it's just a keyboard :dahell:
Yeah if you want to go lower than that you will have to grab the CM Devastator if you are looking for a "gaming keyboard"

For a mechanical board that is about as cheap as you are going to get.
