There aren't any games that will take advantage of 16 GBs of ram. Why not just upgrade your midrange card?

I run dual monitors, 8 GB is starting to get sluggish to me

I need to upgrade my processor as well.. I have a great AMD motherboard but thinking of switching to intel since they are so much better for gaming (AT THE MOMENT) but fukk then I gotta spend money on another motherboard..

I feel you on the Intel thing too. I'm on my first build and I went with AMD. I can't justify the price difference.

if you nerd it out on games like I do then I can.. before AMD and Intel were real close when it came to gaming, but now intel just killing amd in gaming bad.. dont know where the big difference came from.

if I was building a personal computer for light gaming I wouldnt be able to justify the price difference either.

I went midrange. i'm pretty good about keeping savings so going all out on a PC had my mind like



If anyone does got money to spend on a new ATI card:

Buy an AMD 78xx series and get Bioshock 3 + Crysis 3/Tomb Raider

amd is just trash nowadays. I was a big supporter back in the day but they just arent competitive against intel
