Should I go i5 4690k..Xeon or i7 4770k?..
The I5 4690K should be sufficient enough for gaming. If money is absolutely no issue then go for the I7.

This G3258 is pretty good for emulation. It plays PCSX2 better than my Fx 6300 at the same clock speeds. Specifically while playing Persona 3 FES on PCSX2 there were stutters or slight frame drops at specific spots which was hardly anything to fret over but I notice with the G3258 those same spots don't have drops.

Can you play Watch_Dogs better with the G3258 than the FX 6300?

I might just fukk wit the i5 cause it seems perfect for my needs...they said it has damn near equal performance for gaming as the i7..

It does right now because most games are more GPU bound, it will probably change going forward, but the i5 will be straight for a long time.

I don't have benchmarks, but I am sure Metro sees a pretty nice bump in performance from the i5 to the i7.

Watch_Dogs as well, but that game is optimized so poorly I haven't even bothered installing it.

Nope. Watch Dogs performs worse. I get frequent drops to the 20s and even teens more often than the FX 6300 but mainly when driving.
The FX 6300 had drops in the 20s sometimes when driving but then again Watch Dogs is the only game that doesn't run as good as it should be running on my rig so it's :trash: to me.

That's usually the case but with the 4790K the thing clocks to 4.4 GHz out the box.
Yea I feel u..shyt is runnin atleast 80 bucks extra right now tho..lol..I saw the gameplay framerate comparisons and the i5 overclocked gets only a few frames difference..I'm prolly gonna stick wit the i5 4690k..

Has anyone on the Nvidia side tried the Limelight android app? Supposed to be pretty good.
This app streams games from a GameStream-compatible PC on your local network or the Internet (Streaming over LTE is supported, although data usage is high and you may have latency issues). After initial pairing, Limelight will show a list of apps to stream from your PC. You can add any other apps to this list through GeForce Experience. Mouse, keyboard, and controller input is sent from your Android device to the PC.
To have a good experience, you need a mid to high-end wireless router with a good wireless connection to your Android device (5 GHz highly recommended) and a good connection from your PC to your router (Ethernet highly recommended).

So my fellow PC minions, i have a $800-$1,000 budget and want to build an INTEL gaming rig. looking for at least 1TB HDD and a graphics card that can play any game out with no problems on high settings. Can i do it? if so,got any ideas prices for parts?
Let's see here...I am assuming you already have a monitor/hdtv @ 1080P?

Do you live near a microcenter?

btw I am starting to get angry @ AMD...I have never had this many problems with a new platform as I have had with the AM1.

What is happening to this ship :to:
