It all depends on how much you want to spend.I need to build a decent desktop setup for work (writing and programming) and moderate media/game use (mp3s, movies, mid-level requirement games). I've installed all manner of hardware and software on my last desktop which is out of commission currently from a broke monitor pin. I want Linux and 64 Windows Vista (or 7 or 8, doesn't matter), at least 800gb+, 8gb ram+, and a decent processor and graphics card. Is there a site that lists every piece I'll need to gather to put this together? Or a minimal kits that can be purchased with the bare basics? How much do you think this setup I listed will cost? I'll be doing it in the next 3 weeks.
Thanks.

There's a pretty big thread with dude testing a gang of games with it over on OCN.

I then tried 5ghz which took a bucket of ice water and 1.800v on the core.
