Yeah, I built out a system with two 980s in it, but everything was top of the line and it had a 500gb ssd, multiple large hdd, etc., etc. I wanna throw 3 980s in my new build though if the 8gb models are good and that small memory bus isn't an issue. I dunno. It's probably best to just wait it out.

ive been using a 670 gtx and 2 GB for years so 3.5 is still a big upgrade. Picked up 8 GB 1866 ram as well (was using 8 GB)

the memory leak of Reign of Kings is 6 GB.. so my computer was fukking up bad with 8 GB, I bought the additional 8 GB because I figured games would be requiring 6 gb soon anyway :yeshrug:

So my wife sister graduated from some local dallas technical art school...

I'm not really to big on those type of things...I see them as just money pits that don't teach you any real world skill...

I been clowning her for 2 years now...talking about how she threw her money away...blah blah blah...

She graduated in January...told her if she got a job doing "technical art" before may I would sell her my 4k monitor for 400 ( It's one of those super expensive Dell joints...about 1500 now and I got it for a 1000 from work )

You can see where this is going...

She actually got a job...being a graphics designer...AT THE SAME FORTUNE 100 COMPANY I WORK AT :scust:

Showed up with the money for the monitor yesterday like :shaq:...

My wife laughing in the living room like :russ:

Me standing in the doorway while she walked out with it like :mjcry::upsetfavre:

No big deal though cause I can just get another 4k monitor from work...

WRONG...

Can only do that when they do hardware refreshes and they decided they not doing one this year...

Going to get the same model Dell monitor at a 2k resoultion for 300 even at work though...

Now I got to cop some 980's cause my wife bought a tower big enough to fit two 780's in...MY 780's

AND I fukked up and didn't take game updates into account when I use steam (1 GB ssd drive)

So now the drive is around 98% full and every little fukking update forces me to uninstall a game on either steam or origin just to get enough disk space...

And I got almost no space back using Tikione steam cleaner...I guess steam doesn't load every game down with direct X packages anymore...

So I went from not buying anything for my rig until November...to buing 2 gtx 980's...1 TB solid state drive...500 GB solid state drive...

AND I lost my 4k monitor...

As much as all the shyt I have to buy cost I am now just like fukk it and am going to get a mechanical keyboard because I been wanting one forever...

Oh well I am a first year homeowner so I am getting a hilarious amount of money back for taxes...so at least it didn't break my pocket...

And I work from home so I won't have to see my wife sister that much...

Going to just flood my city in cities skyline over and over again to deal with the stress of it all...:mjcry:

the whole thing seems like a promotion. he probably got it even cheaper with the understanding that he would show it to his viewers and share that 10% off code
