it would seem so. Especially since it's idling high now. Maybe your fans are fukking up. It's strange that your gaming temps aren't increasing though.... Overheating would explain crashing, but you don't appear to have that when gaming. Strange...i'm only getting crashes when i game so i'm assuming it's my GPU...
i've had the card for about a year and a half so it's probably time to lay it to rest.
i'm liking what i see in the 4gb 970 and the price is reasonable.
yeah before the whole 3.5gb fiasco, everybody loved that card. It's still a good card, even if it's not truly 4gb.
look into the warranty. even if you plan on upgrading, you can sell the replacement 760

where did you get it? if you ordered online, maybe you have an email invoice. like I said, look into it, and see what they want. the card hasn't even been out 3 years, so it's not like they can say it's beyond it's coverage period. if you don't have what they need, oh well...

You don't need to go ALL out then, especially if you're running just one monitor.
i don't go all out.
the last two cards i've had are a gtx 560ti and a 760.
very middle of the road in my opinion.
Windows 8 kinda sucks...
set it to boot to desktop
Classic Start as well if you want a 7 styled setup. The performance overall is worth the upgrade now imo.
